Blogging Class

Last week was my first week of classes this semester. And since attending that first writing class, I know a little bit more about how the blog thing is going to work.

Each blog post that I type is going to be like a high-school-length essay, it seems. And she wants us to create a blog specifically for our topic of choice, so I have no more worries that that class is going to affect this blog.

But I have another problem: my topic. It's supposed to be something we care about enough to spend the entire semester on and something we are able to research and interview experts on.

Specific problem #1: I have to choose a topic I don't care too much about; otherwise, I'll be too emotionally invested. I may not take criticism too well if that happens, which won't lead to a good grade.

Specific problem #2: Okay, so what about books in general? That kind of seems like too broad a topic. And for my expert interview, would I have to find some random author?

...Idea. As I was writing out that last problem, a possible topic came to me: fairy tales! As in, the original stories written waaaay back. That's something I care about and can research. The only problem left with that is my interview, but maybe I can figure something out.

Squee, I love you, readers! You're so good at solving all my problems! =D
