Messy Desk Cleaning

My desk is so cluttered.

Weird opening statement that may state the obvious for most people, I know. But, it's true. There's stuff all over my desk, and I dunno where else to put some of it. Some of it, though, definitely belongs in other places, like my yarn and maybe my hamsters.

My cross-stitch has been on my desk for at least a year and I haven't finished it. I've finished one of the wolves, but I've barely started the other. And the only background I've put in has been the area touching the first wolf. Why don't I move it? Cuz I may work on it again yet. Why don't I just finish it and get it over with? I dunno.

Why am I even going on like this about my cluttered desk? You know, it's actually making me clean it. Already, I've gotten up a few times during typing out this post to put stuff in a more proper place, and my desk is much clearer already.

Not perfect yet, of course. I've still got some stuff on it that maybe belongs elsewhere, like that big celebratory box of Three Musketeers that I ate all the Three Musketeers out of months ago. That should probably be relocated. Oh, hey! I just found the Strawberry Shortcake hand sanitizer I got in my Christmas stocking.

You, my dear readers, are miracle workers. For months, my desk was perfectly fine to be mildly annoying in its messy state. But now, revealing its state to you has proven how truly irritating it was, and has forced me to clean it. It still has stuff on it, but not nearly as much as before.

So, THANK YOU. Today only proves what I already know about how amazing you are. ;P Keep it up, and I'll see you again tomorrow!
