Guess who scored three free tickets to see Frozen! That's right, and I managed to convince my dad to come along with Mommy and me when my brother decided he didn't want to see it again. Y'see, his school saw it on a field trip last month, and my mom and I tagged along.
The first time I saw it, my only complaint about the movie was that Elsa didn't get a love interest too. True, I had a few complaints about the way Hans handled things after Anna returned; I thought he overdid that scene where he told the people about Anna dying in his arms after their wedding vows. But after some thought, I decided that, overdone or not, he was supposedly in a grieving shock or something, so the people had some excuse for actually buying his act.
After watching it a second time, I'm still upset that Elsa didn't get a love interest as well. But now I'm angry at another point in the movie. That troll king or whatever his station was - the guy who healed Anna that first time. When he spoke to Elsa, he told her fear would be her enemy - and then he scared her half to death by making shadow monsters attack and devour shadow Elsa for breakfast! What's with that? Way to keep her fear at bay, pal. =_=
Anyways, don't let all these complaints fool you: I adore that movie! I love the two Svens (wink, wink), and Olaf, most definitely! ♥
Elsa's song "Let It Go" is absolutely terrific! I've heard that "The Dress," which I'm assuming is the one she creates during that song, is worth the entire price of the movie itself. While I agree that it's gorgeous (for a Disney princess; I'd never wear it, though), my mom and I both agree that "The Dress" alone is not worth the entire movie.
I also love to hate the Duke of Weaseltown. xD His hair is very highly disturbing and hilarious simultaneously.
So. I guess that's about it for this morning. Have a great day, and I'll see you tomorrow!
