I went to a craft store with Mommy yesterday because I'm planning on attempting to make a skirt with some friends soonish.
Shopping, especially clothes shopping, has never been something I'm interested in. Shocking, I know. But anyways, because of that, Mommy has basically just taken to doing my shopping for me. So because of that, I kind of expected to go in with her, let her choose some kind of material, preferably denim, buy it, and be done.
Problem #1: Denim wasn't on sale. Problem #2: There were too many shades and materials of purple to choose from. Problem #3: Mommy pointed out some black material. Problem #4: Even worse, she then pointed out brown! Problem #5: When I finally decided on purple again, neither of us knew which purple to get.
Problem #6: By the time we finally chose the material, we then had to find some thread. Problem #7: I was just going to choose some random contrasting color to save on the whole "matching" thing, but Mommy says thread isn't supposed to be seen.
Easy part #1: Finding elastic. Easy part #2: Getting the lady behind the counter to cut a couple yards of the chosen fabric. Easy part #3: Paying.
Bonus #1: Turned out, we also got a discount because I'm a student.
So, yeah. There's my problematic trip from yesterday. Poor Mommy, having to deal with me simultaneous to the materials...

Yeah especially since your mom LOVES sewing so much herself!
